Talk about enchanting! Sometimes, when the weather looks like it may present a challenge to you, you absolutely do not back down. Sometimes, when you keep pushing through it, true magic happens.
Courtney and Justin and I spent the evening driving through the thickest fog I’ve seen in a long time. Up the Blue Ridge Parkway we went, and we landed on the most beautiful trails about an hour from Asheville. We walked into the woods, and it seemed we had left our world entirely and happened upon a dream, or as Courtney says, a scene from Fern Gully. Which is more than just okay.
With rambunctious pups and two loving souls, we had the most incredible time taking photographs in this dreamy fog and cold. I feel so thankful that this day happened.
